Bryna Lipper
My father's work and this community of economic development professionals was incredibly important to him. Each of you stimulated his curious mind until his very last day. He believed strongly in the ingenuity of the individual, but likewise believed that the collective played an important role in fostering positive growth in society. My dad knew there were many skeptics and detractors to these beliefs but every week in this space he was given a forum to illuminate the evidence. At 80 years old, he still possessed vigorous optimism for the 'innovation economy'; I look forward to continuing his efforts in my own way. As I do, I hope our paths cross and that you'll remain inspired by my dad's contributions to this profession.
