Charles DeNies

I had the benefit of working with George for the last eight years. He always displayed a great sense of humor and a commitment to doing good work that he believed in. Unlike many who work in journalistic circles, he didn't allow himself to become jaded and cynical. He blended pragmatism with idealism in the best way; by sprinkling what people need to know in with what they want to know. For that example, and more, I'm indebted to him.
